Mavka Candles are handcrafting using a own blend of premium coconut, apricot and soy waxes, high-quality fragrances, and eco-friendly wood wicks. Why do you use own blend of coconut, apricot and soy wax?

Each wax in our blend brings unique benefits:

• Coconut Wax – Provides a clean, slow burn and enhances scent throw.

• Apricot Wax – Adds a luxurious, creamy texture and improves fragrance diffusion.

• Soy Wax – Ensures a stable burn and extends the candle’s lifespan.

This combination results in a non-toxic, eco-friendly candle with a strong scent throw, even burn, and minimal soot, making it perfect for a high-quality candle experience.

What are the benefits of wood wicks?

Wood wicks create a soothing, crackling sound reminiscent of a fireplace, adding to the ambiance. They also burn cleaner, produce less soot, and help the candle burn more evenly compared to cotton wicks.

How are your concrete containers made?

Each concrete vessel is handcrafted in small batches, making every piece unique. We mix, pour, and cure the concrete to create durable, modern, and stylish candle containers that add a rustic yet elegant touch to any space.

Are the concrete vessels reusable?

Yes! Once your candle has burned down, you can clean out the remaining wax and repurpose the container as a planter, storage jar, or decorative piece.

Candle care and tips!

How do I properly burn a wood wick candle?

Trim the wick to about 1/4 inch (4-6mm) before lighting. Let the candle burn long enough to allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface (about 2-3 hours) to prevent tunneling. Always burn on a heat-resistant surface and never leave it unattended. Trim wick before relighting.

How long should I burn my candle each time?

We recommend burning your candle for 2-4 hours at a time. This allows for an even melt pool and extends the candle’s lifespan. Avoid burning for more than 4 hours to prevent overheating.

What should I do with the container after the candle is finished?

Every container created to be repurposed. There’re endless possibilities for reuse.Stop burning your candle when it’s 1/4 wax left.Use a spoon or butter knife to lift out the wax. Be careful not to scratch the cement.Peel Off the Wick Base: If the metal wick base remains stuck, use a spoon or a flat tool to pry it off. Use warm (not hot) soapy water and a soft sponge to clean any remaining wax or residue. Rinse with clean water to remove soap. Let the container air dry completely before repurposing.

Yes! Our candles are made with a sustainable coconut soy wax blend, natural wood wicks, and non-toxic fragrance oils. We also upcycle glass bottles and create reusable concrete vessels to reduce waste.

Do you use natural or synthetic fragrances?

We use high-quality fragrance oils that are a blend of natural and safe synthetic ingredients. Our fragrances are free from phthalates, parabens, and toxins, ensuring a safe burn.

Are your candles free from toxins and harmful chemicals?

Yes! Our candles contain no phthalates, parabens, or other harmful additives. They are clean-burning and safe for your home.

Do you offer refills for the concrete vessels?

We are working on a refill program! In the meantime, you can repurpose your container or contact us for refill options.

How long does it take to process and ship an order?

Orders typically take 1-2 business days to process. Shipping times vary based on your location but usually range from 3-7 business days within the U.S.

Do you offer international shipping?

We currently ship within the U.S., but we are exploring international shipping options. Stay tuned!

What is your return or exchange policy?

Due to the handmade nature of our products, we do not accept returns. However, if your candle arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 7 days of receiving your order for a replacement or store credit.
