Mavka Candles are handcrafting using a own blend of premium coconut, apricot and soy waxes, high-quality fragrances, and eco-friendly wood wicks. Each candle is hand-poured into artisanal concrete vessels making every piece one-of-a-kind. Inspired by Ukrainian folklore, our candles bring storytelling and sustainability together.

Wood wicks create a soothing, crackling sound reminiscent of a fireplace, adding to the ambiance. They also burn cleaner, produce less soot, and help the candle burn more evenly compared to cotton wicks.

Each concrete vessel is handcrafted in small batches, making every piece unique. We mix, pour, and cure the concrete to create durable, modern, and stylish candle containers that add a rustic yet elegant touch to any space.

Yes! Once your candle has burned down, you can clean out the remaining wax and repurpose the container as a planter, storage jar, or decorative piece.

Trim the wick to about 1/8 inch (3-4 mm) before lighting. Let the candle burn long enough to allow the wax to melt evenly across the surface (about 2-3 hours) to prevent tunneling. Always burn on a heat-resistant surface and never leave it unattended. Trim wick before relighting.

We recommend burning your candle for 2-4 hours at a time. This allows for an even melt pool and extends the candle’s lifespan. Avoid burning for more than 4 hours to prevent overheating.

Every container created to be repurposed. There’re endless possibilities for reuse.Stop burning your candle when it’s 1/4 wax left.Use a spoon or butter knife to lift out the wax. Be careful not to scratch the cement.Peel Off the Wick Base: If the metal wick base remains stuck, use a spoon or a flat tool to pry it off. Use warm (not hot) soapy water and a soft sponge to clean any remaining wax or residue. Rinse with clean water to remove soap. Let the container air dry completely before repurposing.
